Terms of Service

1. The service
ctr.so is an AI thumbnail studio. You describe the thumbnail you want; we generate it server-side using third-party AI models (currently provided by fal.ai) and return the result to your browser. By using ctr.so you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Credits and payment
Generation is metered in credits. New visitors receive 3 free credits. Additional credits are sold as one-time packs, not subscriptions, and are charged once at the listed price. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and are tied to the browser that purchased them (see the Privacy Policy for how the credit wallet works).
3. Delivery and refunds
Credits are delivered immediately after payment, and you consent to that immediate delivery. If a generation fails on our side, the credits it consumed are refunded to your wallet automatically. For unspent purchased credits, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing us; credits already spent on completed generations are non-refundable.
4. Your content
You own the prompts you write and the reference images you upload, and you must have the rights to use them. Subject to the terms of the underlying model providers, you may use generated thumbnails for any lawful purpose, including commercially, with no watermark and no attribution required. Generated images and history are stored in your browser, not on ctr.so accounts.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use ctr.so to create content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights (including using a real person's likeness without permission), or is intended to deceive. Do not attempt to bypass credit enforcement, rate limits, or otherwise abuse the service. We may block access for abuse.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". AI output can be unpredictable; we do not guarantee any particular result, click-through rate, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
7. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date reflects the current version, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Canada.
